These terms apply when you use Luggage Log: the app, the website and connections to AI assistants and Todoist. By creating an account or using the service, you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Who we are
Luggage Log is run by Gearloose. You can contact us at gustav@gearloose.dk.
The service
Luggage Log is a tool for making and sharing packing lists for trips. You can keep track of bags, items, tasks and shared expenses. Some features are optional, such as AI packing suggestions, AI assistants and syncing with Todoist.
Age and account
You must be at least 13 years old to use Luggage Log. Keep your password safe, and give us correct details. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us if you think someone else has access to it.
How the service may be used
- Follow the law. Do not use the service to harass, cheat or harm others.
- Do not try to break into, overload or reverse-engineer the service. Do not try to access other people's data either.
- Do not upload content you have no right to share, or anything unlawful.
- Do not put sensitive personal information into AI input or item descriptions.
Your content
Trips, lists and other content you create remain yours. You allow us to store, process and display it as far as needed to run the service. That includes showing it to the people you share a trip with.
Shared trips and co-travellers
When you invite someone to a trip, they can see and edit the trip. That includes items, tasks and expenses. Only invite people you trust. You are responsible for what you write about others, such as their names. Only add co-travellers who are fine with it. If you delete your account, the trips you created are removed for everyone.
AI suggestions
AI packing suggestions are made automatically and can be wrong or incomplete. Always check them before you rely on them. Especially when it comes to medication, travel documents, travel rules and safety.
AI assistants
Giving an AI assistant access is optional. You do it under Profile → AI assistant keys, either by connecting ChatGPT or by creating a key that you give to an assistant yourself. With the ChatGPT connection you choose which access to approve: packing and expenses, read and/or write. A key gives access to read and change your trips and expenses as if it were you, so treat it like a password. The assistant's provider, OpenAI for ChatGPT, processes what the assistant reads under its own terms and privacy policy. You stop access immediately with Disconnect or Revoke on the same page. You are responsible for what the assistant does on your behalf while it has access. So check what it changes.
Todoist
If you connect Todoist, we sync items and tasks on the trips you link to a Todoist project, in the direction you choose. Todoist's own terms apply to your Todoist account. You can disconnect under Profile in Connected accounts.
Expenses are a calculation aid
The expenses feature helps you keep track of who paid what and who owes whom. It is a calculation aid, not financial, tax or legal advice. Luggage Log does not handle payments, does not hold money and never moves money between you. You settle up with each other yourselves.
Availability and changes
We do our best to keep Luggage Log working, but we cannot promise it will always run without interruptions or errors. We may change or remove features and update these terms. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app or by email. If you use the service after a change, you accept the new terms.
When you stop
You can stop using Luggage Log and delete your account whenever you like. You do that with Delete account under Profile in the app. See also the account deletion page. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Read the privacy policy for how we handle data.
Liability
Luggage Log is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses. That could be a forgotten item, a missed trip or a wrong expense calculation. Nor are we liable for losses caused by content from AI or from other users. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not let us limit, or your rights as a consumer.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Danish law, and disputes are decided by the Danish courts. This does not limit the consumer rights you have in the country where you live and that cannot be waived.
